Dr. Shaw Taylor
Chiropractic Physician
Dr. Taylor's passion for health and fitness began in high school, where he discovered distance running and strength training. This early foundation led him to earn a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Sport Science from Temple University. His journey into chiropractic care was inspired by his sister's positive experience with a local chiropractor, motivating him to pursue a career focused on natural and evidence based care.
He went on to earn his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Life University, where he met his wife and fellow chiropractor, Dr. Jaeckle. After graduation, they relocated to Thompson's Station to establish Performax Chiropractic, proudly serving the people and animals of Williamson County and across the country.
Dr. Taylor specializes in the Activator chiropractic technique and is a certified Hill DT spinal decompression specialist. Outside the clinic, he enjoys staying active through basketball, running, lifting, rock climbing, and spending time with his two dachshunds, Finn and Mochi.
Dr. Evie Jaeckle
Doctor of Chiropractic
Licensed in the states of Tennessee, Ohio, and Alabama
AVCA Certified Animal Chiropractor
Dr. Jaeckle specializes in Applied Kinesiology, a chiropractic technique that addresses physical, chemical, and emotional imbalances in the body. With a background in psychology, she places a strong emphasis on emotional work, helping patients release stored stress and trauma that often present as physical symptoms. This integrated approach supports deeper healing and long term results, especially for athletes and equestrians.
Her passion for equine care began early. She has been riding horses since the age of two and has competed nationally and internationally in both Western and English disciplines, including hunter jumper at the Grand Prix level.
Her lifelong involvement in the equestrian world shapes every aspect of her chiropractic care and gives her a deep understanding of the demands placed on both rider and horse.
When she is not in the clinic, Dr. Jaeckle is often traveling to competitions, providing care to riders and horses across the country, and competing with her two horses, Doja Cat and Ceelo. Her mission is to help every patient feel better, move better, and live better.
